Service area
ShieldMePM provides lawn care and property maintenance throughout South Reno — from Caughlin Ranch and Galena Forest to Damonte Ranch, Double Diamond, and South Meadows. If your yard sits along the Mt. Rose Corridor, backs up to the BLM hills near ArrowCreek, or is tucked into one of the newer subdivisions off Veterans Parkway, we service it on a regular schedule and bill you the same flat amount every month.
South Reno is a big area with a wide range of yards — everything from smaller lots in South Meadows townhome communities to larger footprint homes in Galena and ArrowCreek. We handle them all: weekly or bi-weekly mowing and edging, irrigation start-ups and blowouts, tree and shrub trimming, weed control, fall leaf cleanups, and snow removal when winter arrives. One call, one company, one monthly bill with no surprise charges.
Local know-how
South Reno sits between roughly 4,400 and 5,000 feet depending on how far up the foothills you go, so wind and temperature swings are real factors for lawn health. Soil in the valley floor corridors like Damonte Ranch and Double Diamond tends to be heavy clay with caliche underlayers, which drains poorly and compacts quickly — irrigation timing matters here. Homes closer to the Sierra foothills in Galena and ArrowCreek often hit decomposed granite a few inches down. Most South Reno communities — particularly ArrowCreek, Damonte Ranch, and Caughlin Ranch — have active HOAs with turf maintenance standards, so keeping a clean, trimmed yard is not optional. TMWA's even/odd watering schedule (no irrigation between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.) applies here, and we set up and adjust your controller accordingly each season.
Free, no-obligation, and written down. Transparent pricing and a crew that shows up.
